We bought a lemon tree back in the spring.
The blooms smelled so sweet.
Then these tiny lemons started to grow where the flowers had been.
This one has gotten really big.
But we don't know when to pick it.
We keep waiting for it to turn yellow
But it refused.
We thought it may be a lime.
This is my new hobby, watching lemons (or possibly limes) grow.
We waited and watched and then couldn't take it any more.
It smelled like a lemon. It just wasn't exactly ripe enough.
We are looking forward to sipping ice cold lemonade. I think we might end up with enough lemons for about 4 glasses.
