This is the Day That The Lord Has Made

This day has been one of the biggest, most momentous occasions in my life.

And I will rejoice and be glad in it.

The Tunnel Has Light

So there is definately light at the end of the tunnel. 8 and 1/2 months until graduation! We will be able to move back home to The Little House and live happily ever after. The end.
Not exactly.
(I wanted to title this post 'Less than 9 months', but I thought that might give the wrong impression.)

In the process of trying to finish my last year of chiropractic school, I am also trying to take a couple (as in 2) classes at a local community college. I can enroll in the 2 classes I need once I'm able to provide proper documentation that:
  • I am not an illegal alien
  • Louisiana is part of the United States
  • I have not committed identity theft
  • I am attending 2 schools at the same time
  • I do not plan to receive a degree from this college
  • I'm ready for college (ha!)
My college career is coming to an end. The thought of it gives me great joy. Nausea. Sense of accomplishment. Sense of impending vomit.
Excuse me while I go have a freak-out. Thank you.

Now.

Mr Z, myself, and Beaux live in a tiny apartment outside Houston. I am in my last year of chiropractic school. Mr Z works as a massage therapist and graduated with an Associate's degree in restaurant and catering management in June of 2009.

One year from now, we will be back living in the Little House. The past two and 1/2 years we have lived here we have been able to do things we never would have never gotten the opportunities to do if we had not left that wonderful piece of land in Belah. We get to go to concerts and festivals, go shopping (more like browse) in upscale stores, eat at amazing restaurants, meet wonderful new people, and make our own little life.

About a week ago, we made a trip home to do some renovation work on the Little House. I will post some before-and-after pictures later.
